I wanted a simple way to shake up my routine, to meet new people, to try something new. And to spend way less energy mindlessly scrolling through social media in order to pass the time.
There are plenty of community organizers already creating amazing events in this city, yet for many of us we are unaware until we see the “proof it happened” on social media. FOMO is real, y’all.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner? I don’t know about you, but this time of year always gets me thinking about celebrations—not just the big, sparkly kind (although I do love a good table setting), but the quieter kind too. The kind that feels grounded, intentional, and full of purpose - with family, friends and even the “right” networks. September was particularly full for me in the event planning world and October just feels like a time to reset.
